We are excited to partner with RYDE, a premium indoor cycling studio in Houston, who is hosting a Charity RYDE to raise funds in support of The Hope Project. Funds from this event will help provide music classes at our newest school, Clemente Martinez Elementary School, in Houston’s Northside neighborhood. RYDE is passionate about giving back to their community, and has donated over $138,000 to support local and national causes since opening their doors in 2015.

100% of the class is donated to The Hope Project.

This link will take you to RYDE's login page. If you already have an account, you will log in with your credentials. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one in order to book the class.

Once you log in or create an account, you will be taken directly to the class page to book a bike for the event.

6100 Main Street, MS-480
Houston, TX 77005
(University Entrance 8, at University Boulevard and Stockton Street)

Conceived and choreographed by Artistic Director Jane Weiner, 5 Pieces of Candy is inspired in part by the Moody’s recent exhibits by Tacita Dean and Gillian Wearing that shine a light on creativity and aging.

The performance is set in the Moody’s Central Gallery, which is currently exhibiting Gillian Wearing: Rock ‘n’ Roll 70, a site-specific installation covering the wall with photographic portraits of the artist that have been digitally aged.

Like reaching into a dish of assorted candy, Jane has picked four favorite solos and duets from Hope Stone Dance’s 22 years of history, and is also creating a new duet for Lindsey McGill, Hope Stone Dance’s longest active company member, and guest artist Jessica Collado (appearing courtesy of Houston Ballet, Principal).

Hope Stone Dance company artists performing are Jacquelyne Boe, Lindsey McGill, Travis Prokop, Candace Tompkins and Brit Wallis, with guest artists Shohei Iwahama, and appearing courtesy of Houston Ballet – Christopher Gray (Soloist) and Jessica Collado (Principal).
